Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote the framework of developmental assets in youth by building an awareness of five fundamental resources in Johnson County, Wyoming:

Vision Statement
Our vision is a healthy community of compassionate citizens of all ages building relationships based on respect, caring, and responsibility, and faith.

Statement of Purpose
Our purpose is to unite the community by accepting a foundation of community values based on developmental assets that help young people grow up healthy, caring, and responsible.




Summary of Goals

To educate the community through outreach, marketing, educational materials and training about the asset-building model and the impact assets have on the future of our youth.

To encourage a community-wide vision so we can ALL help increase the asset base for ALL children and adolescents.

To identify our county's resources (youth organizations, clubs, volunteer groups, support groups, and agencies, etc.) and compile a complete human service directory that will be accessible on the internet and in printed form. (Also known as the "Connect Wyoming" project.)

To identify and strengthen local actions, reduce duplication and overlap of services, and encourage partnerships between providers.

To communicate with our resources to identify needs within the community and specific needs of organizations.

To coordinate a community Volunteer Placement Program to match volunteers with organizations.

To be an information clearinghouse and referral system for youth, families, individuals, and organizations in need of services.

To identify grant sources in an effort to match them to organizations in need of additional funding to meet their goals.

To co-sponsor projects that support our mission, vision, and purpose.
