The Community
Resource Center has compiled a substantial
resource library listing grant funding
available to nonprofit organizations.
The Executive Director is available to
assist organizations in their pursuit of
grant dollars, or as has happened in several
cases, the CRC will become the Lead Agency
in a multi-agency project.
As Lead Agency for the funding of a
community project, the CRC researches
possible funding streams and writes the
grant for the project in collaboration with
partnering organizations. If the grant
is awarded, the CRC, as Lead Agency,
will administer the grant by making required
reports to the funding agency and provide
oversight of the granted funds.
We believe that
the success of a project relies on the
willingness of individual organizations
involved in the project to unselfishly work
together. The CRC can facilitate this
process by fairly, and without bias,
representing each player in the proposed
project. In today's world of
competitive philanthropy, this approach
seems to be the most compelling to grantors.
